The wines there are classic Margaux, with beautiful perfume, class and finesse. The 2004 is a classic beauty and, most of all, is an absolute steal at this price. "Although the 2004 has closed down and appears shorter than it did last year, it reveals a fragrant bouquet of red and black fruits interwoven with truffle, coffee, spice, and cherry characteristics. It is medium-bodied and elegant, but less substantial in the finish than last year. Give it 2-3 years of cellaring, and drink it over the following 12-15 years." 89-91 points R.
