Another
amazing value from Argentina!
"Nicolas Catena’s Alamos brand has fashioned a fabulous value
with its smoky white fruit-scented 2004 Chardonnay. Medium-bodied and elegant,
this wine coats the taster’s palate with layers of well-focused,
rich, plump apples and pears that are intermingled with notes of buttered toast.
In addition, its well-balanced, highly expressive and refined personality has
outstanding concentration and length. " 89 points Robert Parker (June 2005
Issue)

DU MARTRAY CORTON CHARLEMAGNE 2002 -

Bonneau
du Martray is such an amazingly
consistent producer. His Corton
Charlemagne from 1998 to 2002
have all been spectacular. The
2002 shows all the greatness
of the vintage and it is one
of the best priced Corton Charlies
on the market
"The 2002 Corton-Charlemagne, revisited from bottle, sports a spicy, apple-scented
nose and a long, light to medium-bodied personality. Well-focused and revealing
a deep minerality, spice-laced pears, and white pepper, this elegant wine is
complex, seamless, and possesses a beautifully extended finish. Projected maturity:
2007-2015. Bravo!" 92 points The Wine Advocate
"Shows fine density, even a
slight astringency. Ripe apple and peach
flavors are rich and persistent, with vanilla
and mineral notes emerging on the finish.
The long, expansive finish reveals its potential.
Best from 2008 through 2018. 4,000 cases
made" 94 points The Wine Spectator. |

their best ever. A superb vintage
for the whites of the Medoc and
always a hard one to come by,
in any meaningful quantities.
We have just bought 20 cases

A
very rare wine because of its
limited production, high demand
and incredible quality, Pape
Clement's white is on a par with
Haut Brion Blanc and Laville
Haut Brion. The 2001 is out of
this world. Extremely limited
quantities available. |

According
to Robert Parker, "Bordeaux's "Mr.
White Wine," Denis Dubourdieu,
owns this estate that consistently
turns out one of the finest dry
whites. The 2004 is one of his
most successful vintages to date.
The Semillion was ripe and the
Sauvignon Blanc adds all the
zest and some nice, crisp acidity.
It is a super-delightful wine
for summer drinking and beyond.
A must buy at this super-low
price!

dessert wine made in all of France.
Only made in very special vintages,
the 2003 will stand alongside
the 1947, 1995, 1997 and 2002
as one of the greatest Cuvee
Constance ever. Don't wait for

99-100 point wine and it will

BLANCO 2004 - CLICK

What
an amazing value! What is coming
out of Spain, at current price
levels, is just mind-blowing.
"The finest white wine I have yet tasted from Muga is the 2004 Blanco, a value-priced
blend of 90% Viura and 10% Malvasia. Spring flower garden notes intertwined with
notions of honeyed pear and citrus soar from the glass of this perfumed white.
It is well-textured, with terrific fruit, wonderful purity, and surprising body.
I was shocked to learn this wine was barrel-fermented and aged sur-lie for four
months in French oak as the wood component is virtually non-existent. I would
opt for drinking it over the next 12-24 months. "90 points Robert Parker |

Another
sure winner that will please
the purse and the palate. So
delicious!
"The 2004 Naia is a tank-fermented
and aged Verdejo offering loads of
honeysuckle, lemon zest, and orange
rind characteristics in a crisp, medium-bodied,
surprisingly textured yet elegant,
fresh style. Enjoy it over the next
12-18 months. This modern-styled Spanish
white should be sought out by consumers
looking for light to medium-bodied,
crisp, zesty whites with loads of character." 88
